Exhibition Text:
Focusing on the U.K. border with France, the work highlights, using satire, the relative level of detachment taken by much of the British population when considering the migrant situation in Calais. The images are taken from media coverage of the crisis at Calais and the attempts made by refugees to reach the U.K. mainland.
The aim of the game is to reach the U.K. while dodging a variety of obstacles and attempts by the authorities to block their entry. As the game progresses, it is increasingly difficult for the migrants to win and indeed even finish.
